Today, at the Las Camelias Hall of LATU, the launch of the CUIR, the Uruguayan Chamber of Rural Real Estate, took place. This event, which brought together the main players in the Rural Real Estate market, marks a milestone in the history of the sector.
The chamber was born from the initiative of 12 founding members. The process took years of hard work. The founders were seeking to provide an institutional framework for the development and professionalization of Rural Real Estate transactions in Uruguay. Finally, after 4 years of joint work to formally establish it, today, August 5, 2024, we celebrate its launch.
Among the main goals of the members is the promotion of solid common values when doing business. Values based on transparency and ethics that this type of operation requires.
The CUIR arrives to provide an institutional framework that will strengthen investors’ confidence in farms and ranches. Therefore it will facilitate and add formality in Real Estate operations in the Uruguayan countryside.
